The author a hawkish Australian journalist manages to shed some light on the events. There's also quite a bit of local color. A good thing is that this provides a non-American perspective on the final collapse. Both the Americans and South Vietnamese come in for quite a bit of criticism. The lack of support for refugees is also criticized.
