this is a very short booklet on the interactions between the natives and Europeans. The book describes the trading between the two groups as well as the political connections forged. Maps and illustrations are in abundance. There's a further reading section with comments. I think the description of the natives is a little on the idealized side. This was published in 1989 by the Canadian Historical Association and is a revised edition.Recommend.
